Announced approximately two months ago, this collaboration combines two exceptional wine varieties from Kantina Edoni with exquisite chocolates from ChocoAlb, offering a unique gift option for the festive season.
Kantina Edoni, established in 1998, is a family-owned winery located near Berat, Albania. The winery is known for producing high-quality wines from various grape varieties, including Merlot, Vranac, Riesling, Trebbiano, and native Albanian grapes like Shesh i Bardhë and Shesh i Zi.
ChocoAlb specializes in artisanal chocolates that highlight flavors from different Albanian regions. Their products incorporate ingredients such as olive oil from Tirana, hazelnuts from Gjirokastra, figs from Berat, and more, each representing a unique aspect of Albanian culinary heritage.

Balkans International Wine Competition (BIWC)

Kantina Edoni is a family-owned winery established in 1998, located near the historic city of Berat in Albania. The winery cultivates a variety of grape types, including native varieties like Pulez, Shesh I Bardhe, and Shesh I Zi, as well as international ones such as Aligote, Cabernet Sauvignon, Trebbiano, and Vranac.
At the 2024 Balkans International Wine Competition (BIWC), Kantina Edoni’s 2022 Pulez white wine received a gold medal with a score of 92.
Additionally, their 2022 Shesh I Bardhe white wine earned a silver medal with a score of 87.

At the same time, local breweries, wineries, and HoReCa businesses are seeking sustainable, cost-effective alternatives Creating a clear opportunity for a circular glass bottle system that boosts the local economy, creates jobs, and reduces waste.
reuseAglass is an innovative circular economy venture responding to this need. It operates a closed-loop system for collecting, cleaning, and redistributing reusable glass bottles, serving microbreweries, family-run wineries, and HoReCa clients.
The initiative brings together a diverse team of professionals from across the beverage and food sectors. Among them is Kantina Edoni, which actively participated in the programme demonstrating its commitment to sustainable practices and local solutions.
